Job Summary

Partner in a team environment or be able to independently design, develop, code, test and debug new software or significant enhancements to existing software of moderate complexity. Develop solutions across many disciplines and be responsible for explaining solutions and procedures. Apply principles, theories and concepts and use methodologies, tools, documentation processes and test procedures to complete projects related to moderately complex software.

This position is located in Littleton, Colorado or Broomfield, Colorado.

This position does not require travel.

Job Description

* Develop software using Java and or PERL to interface with and control devices on multiple networks.


* Testing and documenting changes and enhancements


* Analyzes programming requests for the purpose of assisting integration with current applications


* Tasks may include project implementation, researching and evaluating problems, and recommending and implementing decisions


* Conducts training for the purpose of providing technical expertise to end users


* Tasks may include training for System Operator/Programmer, providing user activity education, and one-on-one support



Qualifications

* Considerable experience with Java or PERL


* Understanding of Python


* Familiarity with networking concepts and a wide variety of network hardware


* Familiarity with GIT, SVN, CentOS Linux


* 4+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of experience with a Master's Degree
