We are looking for a Sr Software Developer to fill a position on our Asset Performance Management development team, building the next generation predictive analytics solution for IIOT and asset optimization. As a software developer, you will work on our Aspen Mtell product, implementing technology and modelling enhancements as well as playing a role in its conversion to a cloud-native, microservice-based architecture. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in cutting-edge transformations of our Mtell product.

Your Impact

* Develop and maintain our Aspen Mtell product.
* Implement core modeling enhancements in the product
* Participate in the transformation of Aspen Mtell to a cloud-native, scalable, microservice-based architecture
* Work with other team members to develop designs, use cases, architecture and specification documents for our products.
* Work with Customer Support and Quality Engineering teams regarding customer and product issues as well as integration testing.
* Adhere to standard processes for new feature development, defect processing, source code control, and unit testing.
* Provide technical support to product management, product marketing, services, customer and business support on customer activities.

What You'll Need

* B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering
* Strong programming background having experience with C#/.NET, micro services and SQL databases
* Passion for developing products or solving problems for engineering and industrial applications
* Cloud development experience with Azure or AWS would be a plus
* Experience with time series databases is a plus
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
* English fluency (written and verbal) required
* Strong problem solving ability
* Work well in a team environment
