You've read the comics. You've watched the movies. You've always wanted to be a force for good over evil. Come build services to protect Amazon and its customers by keeping unwanted activity off Amazon's platforms. Our organization is building secure analytics software that keeps Amazon and its customers safe. The systems you build will identify and prevent malicious activity, and you will be challenged to make them scale to the exponential growth of Amazon.

You will be leading a team of talented engineers to build systems that accurately predict the risk of an Amazon account being taken over by a bad actor or a bot. You will use a variety of Amazon internal and external data to understand account holders' behavior and detect changes in that pattern. You will apply Big Data and Machine Learning technologies to the data to predict suspicious activity and initiate preventative measures. You will build creative controls to challenge and shut out bad actors while still giving a smooth experience for good customers. The systems you build should be supporting the growing list of Amazon subsidiaries and geographies and provide accurate responses to billions of requests a day in less than a few milliseconds.Your solutions have the capability to put a smile on the face of every Amazon customer across the globe.

You'll be contributing to the strategic vision of the team including the 3 year business and architectural plans. You'll be working closely with the principal engineers and SDE3s in the org to define software standards and influence the design and architecture of products. You'll have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers across the org and help in their career growth.
