Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

* Work in scrum team to understand the user stories and create test cases and execute part of the user story
* Create automated test scripts utilizing Cucumber/Gherkins language to create feature file
* ATDD - Acceptance Test Driven development, understand the user stories and acceptance criteria to create the test case scripts
* Defect management by creating defect, troubleshooting with developers and analyst, re-testing and closure of the defects
* Prepare regression script/bed after every sprint and run the same during every sprint
* Perform functional, system and regression testing
* API (SOAP and REST) testing via SoapUI, NEO Load tool or any other similar tool
* Cross program coordination for test only project to support data identification, creating sample data/file, execute test cases
* Project release/cross program testing status/update
* Batch file testing, create file with sample data, run the batch, move files via ftp, validate the results and pass/fail the test case with defect creation as appropriate
* Work in Agile Scrum team to help groom user stories, create tasks, estimate and provide story points

Required Qualifications:

* 4 or more years of experience as quality engineer/analyst testing web applications, APIs, database queries
* API (REST and SOAP) testing tools (using e.g. SoapUI/PostMan/NeoLoad) with JSON and XML data structure
* Automation using any tools like such as but not limited to ATDD (Cucumber, Jenkins, Feature file, Gherkins etc) and any other custom scripting utilizing python and/or selenium
* Creation and execution of test scenarios, test cases and preparing test data
* Communicating across the organization to provide status, troubleshooting, analysis of issues/defect, cross domain/end to end testing

Preferred Qualifications:

* Healthcare Domain experience
* Leading quality automation initiatives to adopt new tools, frameworks
* SQL, Unix experience
* Performance testing
