Sr. QA Tester 697852

As a QA Analyst, you are expected to think critically about the level of testing required (e.g. None, manual, automated) that makes sense for each change being worked on, in each stage of that change's lifecycle (e.g. design, development, QA, release). The result of testing should be valuable feedback to engineers and product managers concerning the change's likelihood of defectiveness and confidence level of correctness.

Your Day-to-Day:

* Validating defects in daily builds
* Performing Regression Tests
* Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
* Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
* Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
* Provide technical support to internal customers



Key Projects:

* Creating/improving better QA processes and methodologies across over 12 platforms. (Automated and Manual)
* be a hands-on QA leader working within a fast-paced AGILE Environment

Qualifications:

* Write/Execute test cases/suites for multi-platform application software
* Perform manual tests for product functionality
* Closely collaborate with engineers and product management and take an active role in the development process
* Continuous research on best quality testing tools and methodologies
* Superb communication skills
* Experience with Wireshark, Fiddler, or Charles Proxy



You might also have

* BA/BS in computer science or any related technical field, or equivalent work experience
* Actively tested for defect across multiple platforms
* Knowledge of video technologies in both objective C and java
* Strong understanding of agile test tools and methodologies
