Position Summary:

Genomic Health is the world's leading provider of genomic-based diagnostic tests that address both the overtreatment and optimal treatment of early-stage cancer, one of the greatest issues in healthcare today. We're in search of an extraordinary Sr. Project Manager with Scrum Master experience to join our dynamic team.

The Scrum Master activities will include leading the facilitation and planning of all Sprint development activities for Enterprise Information Management team within the IT Enterprise Business Applications group. Key objectives will be creating visibility to all stakeholders, managing scope iteratively (sprints and releases) through Scrum tools, and allowing for the iterative change in direction based on stakeholder engagements. The ideal candidate is also able to manage the day to day operational elements of Scrum teams but also able to bring a broader vision, aligning teams and stakeholders.

This candidate responsibilities will extend to project management and responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Manage the execution of IT projects, on time and on a budget, working with program managers, other project managers, functional managers, business analysts and other staff on simultaneous projects. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of the project.

Your Responsibilities:

* Determine the necessary time allotments for tasks through input from the Scrum team.
* Lead Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives etc.).
* Responsible for managing the scrum process with the coordination of the scrum team in Agile methodology.
* Facilitate a disciplined approach in product backlog grooming. Helps product owner to manage the product backlogs and make them ready for the next sprint.
* Maintain, monitor, and improve Scrum metrics (Burndown, Velocity etc.).
* Manages Medium/Large sized projects with some multidisciplinary team members and moderate technical scope.
* Managing project risks, including the development of contingency plans.
* Assist program manager on the successful delivery for project's success and goals.
* Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary.
* Ability to communicate effectively internal and external to the project/core team.
* Ability to manage Programs or Platforms with multidisciplinary teams and broad technical scope.
* Contributing independent thought to tactical planning and execution efficiencies.

Your Qualifications:

* BS/BA degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science or related discipline.
* 8+ years of experience in project management.
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a hands-on Scrum Master role preferably in the life sciences/healthcare industry.
* Certifications including one or more of the following: Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP).
* Deep understanding of software development life cycle models as well as experienced knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices.
* Experience in handling Data warehouse projects is a strong plus.
* Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques.
* Experience in managing multi-projects/programs simultaneously with timely completion.
* Self-motivated with a willingness to learn with a strong sense of accountability and a proven track record of delivering results.
* Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively (written and verbal) in a global team environment with technical and business audiences.
* Strong facilitation, influencing and negotiating skills.
