Job Description:

The Sr. Project Manager - Platform is responsible for planning and managing software products along with analyzing needs from stakeholders and customers. This includes proposing new products and solutions that address customer needs, developing strategic directions and defining specifications of each functionality for features and services, overseeing and strategically prioritizing project backlogs and release plans ensuring to meet directions of products or company's goals and mentoring other junior members of the team.

What You Can Expect To Do In Your New Gig

* Analyze requirements from stakeholders and customers, and define project objectives
* Conduct research and competitive analysis to determine best practices of Web features or services
* Propose new products and solutions for management approval
* Define software features with designing functional flows, development requirements and specifications; interact with cross-functional teams for feasibility, and seek solutions to meet project goals
* Manage product life cycle with tracking user performance and operational issues
* Prioritize project backlogs and release plans
* Other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge:

* 5+ years of relevant software product management experience is required
* A successful record of defining software products in similar industry is required
* Experience working in an agile environment is a plus
* Bachelor degree in technical or design related field is required
* Product management or product owner training certification preferred
* Excellence with Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Visio is required
* Expertise in creating comprehensive functional specifications for software products is required
* Understanding of web languages such as HTML, CSS and Javascript is preferred
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
* Make critical product feature and functionality decisions
* Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
