Amazon's network is at the heart of everything our customers touch. It empowers our e-commerce site, our Amazon Cloud Computing and Web Services (AWS), and the global operation of thousands of applications across hundreds of thousands of servers worldwide. The AWS Networking team develops, delivers, and operates the network platform for all of Amazon and our customers.

We are currently looking for a leader to drive a global program. The role requires a dynamic, large-scale and program management leader who can lead multiple initiatives across the globe. This leader is expected to drive business outcomes through different roles, sometimes supporting, sometimes leading, and having the ability to "roll up his or her sleeves" and jump in if needed.

Specifically, in this role you will be accountable for the management and completion of the program to ensure redundancy in our network. We are seeking a Program Manager to partner with stakeholders across the organization to drive alignment and completion of program milestones. The successful candidate must be able to think strategically, dive deep into technical requirements, and communicate effectively to senior management.

Key responsibilities include:.

* Monitor the program's overall progress; anticipate risks, resolve issues and initiate corrective action as appropriate
* Work with stakeholders (engineers/tech program managers/senior management) to define requirements and processes
* Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate the trade-offs needed.
* Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
* End to end responsibility for the program's execution and success
