Description

The Sr. Processing Control Specialist will coordinate, control, and interpret workflow levels in operational departments in order to consistently meet client service level agreements; initiate job routines for transport equipment; maintain and initiate communication with associates to direct their activities in accordance with production priorities; communicate with associates, operations supervisors, coordinators, customer engineers, and IT department regarding processing issues/status and equipment issues. Work closely with other team members in coordinating workflow across all remittance processing departments; assist to coordinate and communicate process changes and support new client testing and implementation.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the time sensitive processing of work cases based on both banking and the various credit card associations' regulatory guidelines and client requirements. Research and evaluate the work case and process the dispute, fraud, chargebacks and/or complaints. May monitor systems to detect possible fraudulent behavior related to credit card usage and contact card holders to investigate possible fraud.

Scope of Job

Makes decisions within established guidelines regarding the different work cases and various transactions. Has access to confidential information.

Autonomy

Performs duties under moderate supervision with standard procedures referring the most complex issues to higher levels. Must use judgment and make good decisions independently on both defined and undefined areas.

Required: These positions require candidates to be flexible with scheduling as this is a 24/7 operation. The positions require flexibility to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays. High school diploma or equivalent experience. Minimum two years industry & association experience related to fraud, chargebacks and/or disputes. Knowledge of banking & association rules and regulations. Ability to read, write, type, complete basic arithmetic, and multi task. Customer service, analytical and research skills required.
