The Sr Network Consultant is responsible for assisting design, development, and implementation of the routing, switching, and backbone network systems supporting client networks.

Engineer will have experience with the following:

* SDWan expertise, focus on multiple platforms including Versa, Cisco, Juniper.
* Experience with unification and migration of wide area networks and datacenter via M&A activities.
* Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
* Experience with Cisco routing and switching equipment
* Testing network systems maximizing network performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects.
* Translating High Level Design's (HLD) to Low Level Design (LLD),Method of Procedures (MOPS), and installation guides.
* configuring and troubleshooting of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, IGRP, EIGRP, etc) and switching technologies (Spanning Tree, MPLS, etc)
* Review and update network documents
* Troubleshoot hardware and configuration issue

Basic Qualifications

* Minimum of 7 years of Network Engineering experience
* Minimum 3 years consulting experience
* Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Networking technologies
* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and experience
* Ability to create detailed system documentation
* Ability to follow and implement established change and control policies and procedures
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working within Telecommunications industry
* CCIE written desired.
