Key Job Functions

* Part of the middleware engineering team supporting all connectivity/middleware related applications.
* Develop, modify, or update middleware applications supporting critical business functions.
* Member of technically team provide L2/L3 support of the middleware application.
* Develop test protocols or plan for testing revised application and review test results
* Write and review code written to advance application upgrade, extension, or other development. Analyze application for data integrity issues.
* Assess and develop high level design requirements for project and communicate in writing or in meetings with team members. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements.
* Participate in or review all the steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify the middleware applications.
* Interacting with third party technical/business resources, internal technical team to gather business requirement, develop a strategy and implementation the solution in the middleware platform.

Education

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering discipline required

Minimum Experience

* Minimum 8 years of related experience and familiar with connectivity/gateway/SFTP/middleware tools/concepts
* At least 8 years of experience of hands-on Java design and development

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

* Expert knowledge in Web Services (RESTful/SOAP), XML, XPATH, XSLT, Web2.0
* Familiar with IBM DataPower/CA API Gateway/MuleSoft/Apigee
* Deep understanding of the RDBMS (Oracle/MySQL)
* Good Knowledge on network and security
* Script language like Python, Shell Script is a plus
