Position Overview

The Sr. Mgr, Business Information Management will code and troubleshoot new and existing integrations in and out of Workday built with Workday Tools. The job includes interacting with the Business Leads in Human Resources and ability to relay technical solutions in non-technical terms. This is a technical role with the ability to speak to the business at a functional level.

Main Areas of Responsibilities

* Troubleshoot any reported issues on existing systems/ integrations.


* Develop the necessary program(s) to support the technical solution for the business, including researching any new tool or technical offerings addressing the business need.


* Document design as per Allergan standards.


* Process Change Requests that impacts existing and new integrations, as required due to HR process changes, merger & acquisition remediation, new legal requirements by the business.


* Develop, maintain, and provide technical subject matter expertise in the Workday Tool Set and technical offerings in order to convey and communicate capabilities.


* Analyze business requirements to gain an understanding of the business or vendor needs to provide recommendations for solutions. This may include participating in data gathering or vendor assessments sessions.


* Engage with regulatory areas, other Business technology areas, security office, quality assurance, validation, and training in assuring all areas are prepared for the new initiative aligning to Allergan processes and policies.


* Assist the business to develop test plans to ensure the solution meets the business requirements.



Requirements

The following listed requirements need to be met at a minimum level to be considered for the job:

* Must have prior programming experience with Workday Tools (Studio, Connectors, EIB, PICOF, PECI).


* Must have experience building payroll interfaces using PICO or PECI.


* Proven ability to understand integration points with other platforms and third-party software.


* Proven ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, recommend and implement systems, and/or enhancements for problem resolution.


* High performer able to function in a fast paced ever changing environment.


* Strong Workday HCM is a highly preferred (3 plus years)



Education

* Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited college or university, and + five (5) enterprise system experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
