Position Overview

The Senior SFDC Technical Analyst will lead the design and development of SFDC applications in existing and new technologies. They will champion software/hardware standards and develop, articulate and direct the application of programming efforts to greater operational efficiency. They will define technical requirements and create architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems & platforms. The Senior SFDC Technical Analyst will work closely with the Commercial IT BIMs to design, implement & improve the business processes supported by CRM.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Provide on-going analysis of all SFDC applications & integrations to ensure maximize utilization, operational efficiency and relevancy to the commercial organization.


* Build strategic partnerships with internal customers and business partners to understand requirements early-on and to diagnose & resolve issues as they arise.


* Drive the standardization of SFDC applications by promoting shared processes, data harmonization and architectural compliance regionally and globally.


* Ensure activities and portfolios are strategically and operationally aligned with the business needs as well as the IT functional strategies.


* Ensure systems compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as existing and emerging regulatory requirements.


* Oversee the fulfillment of our company data privacy policy with respect to domestic and internationally implemented solutions.


* Maintain shared responsibility for the relationship and interactions with key technology business partners operating in the Commercial IT space (ie: Veeva, SFDC, SAP, eLoyalty, etc.).


* Manage IT business partners & consultants to implement effective work streams, service level expectations and timelines to ensure compliance with best practices.



Requirements:

* Direct experience in all aspects of developing and implementing SFDC applications
* Proven experience in development and implementation of SFDC software solutions
* Project management expertise, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with flexibility and deliver results on time.
* Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies and how they can be applied to solve business problems.


* Understanding of industry trends, best practices especially with respect to enterprise technology and commercialization.


* Expert knowledge of SFDC quality assurance best practices & methodologies


* Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) techniques and tools


* Strong knowledge of data management, including data capture, warehousing, segmentation, mining, storing, cleansing, and security



Skills in:

* Ability to analyze problems and identify alternative technology-based solutions where appropriate.
* Ability to translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences.
* Direct experience in all aspects of developing and implementing SFDC applications.
* Ability to network across a diverse group of functions and operate in a matrix organization.


* Ability to understand field sales and customer service needs to identify and prioritize critical business SFDC changes & requirements.
* Business Acumen to generate insights and recognize multiple points of impact as a result of implementing new technologies.


* Ability to lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions that are aligned with business unit objectives.


* Solid understanding of industry trends and best practices especially with respect to enterprise technology and commercialization.


* IT Services or consulting industry experience in managing the technical delivery of custom development, integration, and data migration elements of SFDC implementations.


* Evidence of leading and developing innovative solutions that have a major impact within the business area and organization.


* Experience in translating business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage our SFDC platforms.



Education

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 5-7 years experience of relevant IT experience.


* 5+ years commercial pharmaceutical experience desired with multi-functional experience.


* 5-7 years of design, architecting & project management experience with SFDC solutions.
