With a focus on emerging technologies - ranging from 3D visualization to mixed reality to robotics to things we can't talk about right now - our team accelerates the experiences that customers expect today and develops the capabilities that power tomorrow.Our Engineering team, headquartered in Kirkland, WA, is responsible for delivering solutions that leverage emerging technologies to solve customer and business problems. This includes building software products using agile methodologies from a prototype in the concept development stage all the way through the lifecycle to full-scale production and integration back into the core enterprise. The Sr. Manager, as a leader on the engineering team, will play an instrumental role in guiding the development team to build a variety of software products spanning desktop, mobile, and app platforms. The Sr. Manager will lead a team of individual contributors in the completion of these projects and collaborate with the Sr. Director of Engineering and peers to define and synthesize user requirements and develop product roadmaps. Strong technical skills, customer focus, business acumen, experience in emerging technologies, and the ability to think big are a must. If you are ready for the challenge, come and help us design the future.Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field• 10+ years relevant experience in engineering project management• 5+ years leading teams with direct reports• 4+ years in a technology leadership role requiring interaction with senior leadership• 3+ years managing operational budgets• 3+ years working with 3rd party vendors and/or software providersPreferred Qualifications: • MBA or Master's degree in CS, CIS, Engineering or related field• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive• Ability to thrive in a startup-like environment and deliver results• Strong oral and written communication skills• 3+ years of development experiences with 3D game engines• 5+ years with Cloud platform services such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform• Experience with software tools related to code, agile story, test, and defect tracking like Git, Atlassian, and VSTS• Experience managing and developing iOS, Android, and Web user experiences interacting with a cloud platformThis position requires domestic travel quarterly and international travel 1-2 times per year.
