The Data Solutions & Architecture group is part of the Enterprise Technology organization. We are responsible for architecting, developing and managing the data platforms, data integrations and reporting and analytics solutions for The Walt Disney Company's enterprise business data. We are experts at architecting and building highly scalable data and analytics solutions that meet the business requirements of the groups across the company we support.

The Senior Engineering Manager for Data Platforms is a strong technology leadership role within the organization, responsible for managing data and analytics platforms and delivering technology solutions by leading complex, large-scale development projects and teams. This is a key leadership position in the Enterprise Business Systems organization, responsible for major enterprise business data and analytics platforms at TWDC.

* Experience successfully leading the delivery of complex enterprise data platform development projects
* Prior experience architecting and developing high-performance, highly scalable and flexible data & analytics platforms

* Experience with SAP HANA
* Experience with Finance and HCM data and business domains is a plus
* Proven track record of execution--driving results and meeting commitments.
* Experience leading large, matrixed project teams including architects, developers, operations, PMs, business analysts, and vendor partners
* Experience proactively managing project risks and issues and implementing effective mitigation plans
* Experience managing project budget and financials
* Experience with agile software development and managing full SDLC
