Responsibilities:

The UTC Cyber Fusion Center is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our Insider Theat team as our Lead Digital Targeter, primarily responsible for identifying and developing intelligence on potential insider risks and threats. The successful candidate will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment to leverage and analyze a wide range of cybersecurity collection sources and publicly available information to plan, initiate, and support Insider Threat Discovery, Pursuit, and Counter-Intelligence operations.

Job responsibilities will include:

* Performing digital target and open-source analysis in order to plan, initiate, and support Insider Threat operations and investigations.
* Creating digital signatures and triggerable events in order to improve our tipping and collection against potential Insider Threats.
* Identifying and documenting analytic techniques and tradecraft as well as gaps in analytic collection sources and content.
* Improving data analytic techniques, tradecraft, and behaviorial models in order to improve performance and mature Insider Threat Capabilties.
* Operating in a fluid environment, interacting with Corporate and Business Unit personnel, and communicating across.
* Contributing to the growth and documentation of the Insider Threat's knowledge management and awareness training.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to form coalitions amongst disparate groups, be able to produce thorough and precise analytic documentation and conclusions, and posses sound decision making skills.

The ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributed is also a must have. This position will be located in Washington, DC. Remote work opportunities are possible. CONUS and OCONUS travel will be occasional as needed.

Experience/Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have experience working for or with Federal Law Enforcement agencies and/or the US Intelligence Community (USIC) in an analytic capacity. Language proficiency in Chinese, Russian, and/or Farsi/Persian is desirable, but not required.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of digital networks and how to obtain unique digital target selectors as well as some familiarity/experience with Computer Network Operations.

The candidate should also posess an understanding of how individuals may attempt to obfuscate their digital footprint in order to prevent detection/collection.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to prepare and present papers, briefings, and other materials to UTC Senior Leadership across the enterprise.

Education:

BA/BS degree in Information Technologiy, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or another related field, OR

7+ years performing technical computer network operations targeting and/or all-source analysis.

Certifications desired but not required: CISSP, CEH, Security+, CCNA or greater, SANS certifications.

Current US Security Clearance or ability to obtain one preferred.
