AWS Elastic Beanstalk is dedicated to making the process of deploying and managing web applications and services into AWS as easy as possible. Elastic Beanstalk is uniquely positioned to serve as a vehicle for customers to quickly use the power of AWS cloud infrastructure while managing the complexity around running and maintaining applications in the cloud.

As you could imagine, Elastic Beanstalk manages a number of resources on behalf of customers. This means a leader in this role must have (or grow to have) broad understanding of many areas of AWS. We are looking for an experienced engineering leader to help grow the service. You will be a member of our leadership team and influence the direction of the service through customer-facing features. You will have the opportunity to interact with our customers to understand their needs and problems, you will help shape our business goals and direction, and you will lead teams to innovate iteratively, delivering high-quality ground-breaking functionality and bar-raising operational experiences that delight our customers.

As a member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the engineering team's success, including developing/realizing our roadmap, developing the careers of our engineers, and delivering secure, reliable, performant service features that exceed customer expectations.
