NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Sr. Java Software Developer to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

NTT Data's UCA team is an industry-leading provider of cloud-based information services to the Healthcare market. In our efforts to continually improve and expand our solution and the value we provide to our customers, UCA is looking to add a highly skilled Java Software Developer who can contribute to the quality and growth of our product. Developers work with the team to help build, deploy, and maintain new features as we continue to meet the needs of the dynamic Healthcare IT cloud market, collaborating closely with business analysts, project managers, solution architects, and QA professionals in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills:

* 5+ years of core Java software development experience with a strong understanding of Java language fundamentals, and formal university training in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
* 5+ years Full-stack application architecture knowledge and experience, including modern UI technologies (AngularJS required, Bootstrap, JQuery preferred)
* 5+ years' experience with OOP principles and Design Patterns
* 5+ years' experience with implementing SOAP or RESTful networked application services, SOA Java Spring (JPA, MVC, Spring Security required; Spring Batch preferred)
* 5+ years' Experience with Linux computing environments, advanced shell scripting.
* 5+ years' experience with source code control systems (e.g. git, Atlassian Bitbucket). Ability to create build scripts with tools such as Atlassian Bamboo
* 5+ years' experience with basic information security standards (RSA encryption, X.509 certificate exchange)
* 5+ years' experience designing and creating RDBMS tables, indexes, and stored procedures (Preferred MYSQL). Experience tuning and optimizing database objects for performance, scalability



Preferred Skills:

* Public cloud technology in either Amazon AWS or Google Cloud with Cloud DB services, application hosting, object storage
* Application Containers, and container automation orchestration technologies
* JUnit test experience
* Experience with NoSQL databases
* Experience with working in Agile/Scrum team development environments
* Experience working with Healthcare IT standards, in particular DICOM, Structured Clinical documents, DICOM, HL7, IHE ITI (XDS) and Radiology storage and workflow standards-based transactions
* Good interpersonal/communication skill with excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to work well under pressure

Experience cooperatively working with global/distributed delivery team
