Purpose Of The Job

Responsible for the architectural design, development, and deployment of various IT systems within the organization. Defines system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery.

Responsibilities/Duties

* Design and architect complex IT systems
* Manage global 24x7 network operation center operation team, E-Commerce production team and global IT development team
* Work with other IT - System team, network team, server & storage team to support all QA, Staging and production environments
* Review, evaluate, recommend and develop objectives, policies and procedures to ensure that systems are meeting the needs of business functions
* Serve as a Team lead to coach, train and mentor other members of the team in US and Asia
* Ensure the operational integrity of the global infrastructure

Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* 8 + years IT experience
* Solid experience with Linux (Centos or equivalent)
* Solid experience with Microsoft Windows server, email and other systems
* Solid knowledge and experience with Internet protocol (TCP/IP, SMTS, HTTP/HTTPS & DNS)
* Experience scripting: Bash, Perl, Python or others
* Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Helm a plus
* Experience with open source products such as Nginx, Vanish, Apache, ELK, Openstack, Grafana, Ceph, Zabbix, Cacti etc. a plus
* Experience with AWS, Google Cloud & MS Azure a plus
* Experience with Network Protocol a plus
* Programming experience is a plus
* Be on call to provide support as needed

Essential Mental and Physical FunctionsMust be organized, detail oriented, and able to effectively handle projects. Good written and communication skills, Microsoft, Red Hat and Cisco certifications a plus. Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment Decisions have major implications on the management and operations of an area within a department. This position develops procedures for performance of a variety of duties or performs complex duties within established policy guidelines. Sitting required 90% of the time. Walking and standing required 5% of the time respectively. No heavy lifting required. Constant working on a computer. Equipment UsedStandard office and computer equipment including MSOffice software.
