Job Description

Providence St. Joseph Health is looking for a Sr. IT Analyst to join our Wellness Corner division and bring their experience to an organization continuing to grow and develop in the healthcare industry.

Job Summary:

The PSJH Wellness team specializes in delivering personalized lifestyle and medical services to our clients/patients with the goal of optimizing their health, creating real convenience, and perfecting the customer experience. One expression of this philosophy includes our private (direct-to-employer) wellness centers, which bring custom-designed integrated medical and wellness services to the workplace.

Our wellness experience provides the ultimate convenience in one-stop "shopping"--pairing our traditional medical services with many other integrated offerings including nutrition coaching, fitness services, personalized medical programs, and innovative technology that connects clients to our centers and their various services.

The Sr. IT Analyst is responsible for managing the reporting and performance of wellness goals, sites, programs and services. The incumbent will also be responsible for decision support by managing wellness health & claims data, source systems, and generating dashboards for current priorities and employer partnerships while also mining & analyzing data to identify opportunities to improve health, reduce the cost of care and create a better customer experience.

Essential Functions:

* Lead wellness and employer partner data reporting by understanding data needs, being the subject matter expert on source systems and analyzing data
* Develop data tools, systems and processes to drive effective and efficient tracking and reporting of wellness goals, sites, programs, services and opportunities
* Own wellness and employer analytics and performance reporting
* Be the subject matter expert on source systems, data output and analysis
* Analyze health plan claims data to identify health trends and opportunities and support wellness feasibility studies, as well as planning and design efforts.
* Strategically analyze data outputs and trends to identify opportunities for health, cost and experience improvements.
* Engage with internal and external customers to provide consultation on strategic initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities:

* Travel required depending on location of project.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Education:

* Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of related work experience

Experience:

* Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a related field
* Two (2) plus years' experience using following TSQL/SSRS/BIDS/SSIS/SSRM.
* One (1) year experience in a healthcare business analyst and/or leadership role.

Computer Skills:

* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (specifically, Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and Visio).
* Recommended previous experience in TSQL, SSIS, and SSRS
* Familiarity with Analytics Presentation Data Tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, Powerpoint

Other: Valid California Driver's License and automobile insurance for employee-owned vehicles.

Experience:

* One (1) year experience with Healthcare Financial Planning & Analysis
