Sr. Full Stack Engineer-Generative Design

As our full stack engineer you will help to transform product design by delivering a web/cloud experience that fully enables engineers to interactively define and explore the functional requirements and goals of their designs with Generative Design. The experience you create will leverage data analytics to guide engineers and radically change the way products are designed and made. You will be at the forefront of the inevitable shift from traditional CAD-based design to a higher design level contributing directly to PTCs renaissance of CAD.

As part of PTC's Center of Excellence for Generative Design you will work as part of a small agile team rapidly building and deploying full stack solutions to engage prospects, validate methods and enable design study exploration using various generative algorithms all focused on innovating how products are conceived, designed and made. You will work closely with the TrueSOLID kernel team to deploy new algorithms and with UI/UX to present new approaches to explore and inspect design study optimization results.

Day-To-Day:

You will coordinate work with teammates through daily standups, authoring new code, supporting testers to facilitate story testing when needed and interact with other members of the larger generative solution team as needed to deliver solutions for fast elegant design study exploration.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

* Experience building full stack solutions preferably as part of Engineering solutions
* Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies/platforms quickly
* Excellent communication, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team; startup experience a plus
* Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge, interest or experience in implementing webservices in Go
* Degree(s) in Engineering, Computer Science, and/or another quantitative discipline

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
