About The Organization

The Global Network Services organization within NBCUniversal's Cyber Security Division exists to deliver new and enhanced Information Technology products across all layers of NBCUniversal. The purpose is to work with the different NBCUniversal businesses providing a technical solution that meets their requirements and delivering those solutions in a supportable and redundant infrastructure. The Global Network Services organization provides technology engineering and support services that utilizes evolving technology which benefit the growing and changing needs of NBCUniversal. The Global Network Services organization is comprised of Networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, Firewalls Active Directory, DNS, and PKI.

About The Opportunity

The Sr. Systems Engineer, Active Directory position participates on the Domain Services team. The Domain Services team provides the following services to the NBCUniversal enterprise:

* Active Directory Services
* DNS Services
* DFS
* Group Policy Services
* PKI
* Federation
* Group Management
* LDAP Binding Services
* Security Compliance and Audit

You will work collaboratively with all NBCUniversal technical teams. You will need excellent project management , organizational, and communication skills. You will participate in customer requirements meetings, work independently on various projects and provide daily and weekly status to Project Managers and Director. Complete knowledge of Active Directory 2008 to 2016 and all features included is a must. You must also have extensive knowledge of DNS, internally and externally as well as PKI.

Qualifications/Requirements

* B.S. degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience (10+ years)
* Minimum 8 years' experience managing Active Directory in large environments
* Demonstrate the ability to lead large projects that require multiple support team engagements
* Must have expertise in x86 architectures to support active directory and accompanying systems
* MCSE Certification
* Extensive knowledge troubleshooting AD related problems
* Extensive knowledge in DNS infrastructures
* Senior level of Active Directory services and features
* Conducts and/or actively participates in meetings related to the designated projects, both locally and internationally, to support our internal IT and business partners
* Experience with DFS, FRS and GPO's
* Experience with AD delegations
* Excellent knowledge of PKI infrastructures
* Technical documentation skills
* Full understanding and ability to use Powershell and create Powershell scripts
* The ability to participate in "on-call" support is a must
* Willingness to travel and work outside of regular work hours, when needed
