LRS Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Sr. DevOps Engineer for a 6+ month contract opportunity (plus potential to extend or convert) with our financial client in downtown Chicago, IL!

Responsibilities:

* Work with development, test, operations, and infrastructure teams to implement DevOps in an AWS cloud based environment.
* Develop automation processes in the DevOps environment
* Support & Troubleshoot issues in the environment as required

Requirements:

* 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role
* 2+ years of experience with cloud based infrastructure (preferably AWS)
* Strong experience with infrastructure-as-a-service & container management / orchestration tools (preferably Terraform & Kubernetes)
* Strong experience in programming DevOps automation
* Strong experience with databases in a cloud environment (incl., queries, stored procedures, data mappings and integration)
* Strong candidates will have experience in Build Systems such as Jenkins
* Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
