Job Description

The Internet of Things (IoT) is set to make very connected device an extension of the AWS Cloud. AWS IoT believes that small connected devices will quickly become the largest source of data in the coming years. AWS IoT device/edge services is looking for a senior developer advocate who will make it her/his mission to enable developers to tinker with and build applications using the IoT device services such as AWS IoT Greengrass and Amazon FreeRTOS.

The self-directed Senior Developer Advocate will be the voice of the developer and help AWS IoT define and drive the next evolution of edge services for AWS. This is an early stage opportunity, and you quickly grow into a leader will build a strong developer community while influencing the product(s). You will be expected to dive deep into new technologies, work across multiple AWS teams, engage with customers at all levels, build a strong community of developers, and help define a forward looking strategy to meet customer needs.

You have built credibility with developers and other technologists, and can quickly build trust with developers as well as business decision makers.
