The Automobile Club of Southern California is seeking career-minded individuals for our Sr. Dev Ops Engineer opportunity in Costa Mesa, CA.

Implement and enhance ITSM tools per business requirements utilizing Agile principles for development. Provide day to day operational support and maintenance including changes to application to achieve optimum performance levels. Conduct unit testing and assist with the installation of new modules, releases and version upgrades. Act as a Tier-2/3 support for system 7x24x365; Participates in on-call support for critical systems and available to work flexible hours as required by assigned projects or system problems. Proactively develop and maintain technical knowledge in a specialized area, remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices. Complies with applicable laws, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.

* 5 years' experience with ITSM tools such as Remedy or Service Now including development, configuration, and implementation of required modules and data integrations with an advanced knowledge of the platform.


* Remedy Certified Implementation Specialist Certification, Remedy Certified Application Developer Certification, and Remedy Certified System Administrator Certification are a plus.


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, related field, or equivalent education/work experience.


* Deep understanding of system and ITSM core configurations in Remedy.


* Hands on experience with implementations and/or migrations to the Remedy platform. Proficient in JavaScript, Java, and HTML. Experience integrating third-party software and APIs with Remedy using REST and SOAP.


* Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment. Expertise in Web technologies (Web Services, XML, HTML, CSS, HTTP, etc).


* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively amongst multiple priorities.


* Ability to communicate to all levels of end users, IS and Management staff.


* Ability to work on a cross-functional team to design and implement scalable and sustainable systems.
