Job Description

* Construct production-level, scalable, and extensible service layers in AWS, etc. You're comfortable with building solutions in AWS using their IaaS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.)...


* Develop server software services integrating machine learning tools, both customized and standardized, with data repositories and front-end interfaces.


* You must be able to solve AWS problems live and be our AWS Guru in-house


* Deliver resilient and redundant services to maintain high availability



Skills:

* 3+ years of experience and knowledge of (AWS, API's, Python, RDMS, Rub, PHP, Javacript, Docker, NodeJS, etc.)


* Proficient with Service Oriented Architecture Principles - Micro Services, JSON Structures, SOA integration patterns


* Understand and have some experience working with AWS Lambda and other serverless technologies


* Experience designing scalable cloud services


* Experience developing microservices on public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)


* Experience developing highly available, scalable distributed systems


* Expertise with C++, C# or another OOD language.


* Excellent communication skills for internal and external presentations


* Experience with mentoring, architectural design reviews, and code reviews).


* Understands how to manage availability and performance.


* Understands how to manage and trade off latency and bandwidth in services
