Position Description:

Do you have strong problem solving skills as well as effective written communication skills? CGI is seeking a Business Analyst on a major cyber security program, where you can use your knowledge, skills, and abilities to solve organizational information challenges and will use your critical thinking skills to identify client requirements and translate those into detailed instructions for your technical team to execute. The ideal Business Analyst is able to build relationships with both their team members and clients. The successful candidate is a self-starter who works effectively in a highly dynamic environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

* Gather, develop, document and validate business, functional and technical requirements.
* Interact with client during status and information gathering sessions.
* Interact with advanced business analysts and solution architects to communicate and validate requirements.
* Perform functional and integrated testing.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation and artifacts including analysis, reports and user documentation.
* Works with project managers, technical team, and end users to ensure application designs .meet business requirements.
* Assists all phases of software systems development applications.
* Evaluates new and existing software products.
* Author and prepare meeting minutes to be distributed to a variety of audiences
* Author user stories, test scripts, and other Agile deliverables

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

* 8-10 years of experience with a 4-year college degree. 4 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
* Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required
* Knowledge of SDLC
* Functional analysis and strong writing skills.
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment under tight timelines
* Ability to multi-task and support multiple projects at once

Desired Qualifications:

* Experience in on projects similar to the size, scope, and complexity of the work and environment for IT security and Service Delivery to multiple government agencies.
* Understanding of federal cybersecurity guidance such as NIST SP 800-37 - Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to Federal Information Systems: a Security Life Cycle Approach and NIST 800-137 - Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) for Federal Information Systems and Organizations. Understanding of the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program (CDM)
