UJET is searching for an experienced backend engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer who has shipped several products at large scale and is meticulous with code style and quality, and the ability to own features and architecture end-to-end.
* Owner of backend server code, including APIs, services, data collection/analysis, scalability, architecture * Implement customer facing features while enforcing maintainability, reliability, and testability * Work closely with product owners, QA, and SRE to develop product roadmap while balancing features, technical debt, and developer productivity
* Depth of expertise in one or more backend frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js or Go * Working experience around a breadth of datastores including MySQL, NoSQL, Redis or Elasticsearch * Previous experience in designing and scaling microservice architecture * Experience with security technologies and best practices including SSL, RSA, JWT, OAuth * Best engineering practices around git, code reviews, and continuous integration
Nice to Have:
* Familiarity with AWS * Familiarity with customer service products, in-app p2p communication, or CRM * Expertise on web and/or device security
