Sr. Azure Specialist (IaaS)

Job Description

The Azure Specialist will design, develop and architect projects for clients in the government Health industry. The qualified individual will work closely with clients to ensure that applications meet their needs and keep pace with rapid changes in Publicis Sapient's and the client's operations, policies and/or procedures, and can provide reports, analysis and technical needs.

Qualified applicants must be detail-oriented, result-driven individuals who work well within team environments and have good interpersonal skills, as well as good client interaction skills.

Do you have the following?

* Experience with delivering large-scale Azure cloud application development and transformation engagements, helping enterprise customers understand cloud considerations, as well as develop new Azure-based cloud-native applications on Azure PaaS.
* Experience with executing technical feasibility assessments and solution estimations for moving identified databases, application workloads, security controls, and integrations to the Azure Platform.
* Design and advocate solutions using modern cloud technologies, design principles, integration points, and automation methods.
* Share knowledge with customers provide architecture reviews, discussions and prototype
* Technical aggressiveness, demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and business requirements
* Work with customers to deploy, manage and audit the best practice use of cloud products.
* Ability & willingness to learn technologies at pace
* Strong verbal & written communication
* Client facing
* Gel well with distributed teams

Nice to haves:

* MS Windows Server system administration skills are desirable
* Experience with common US government or Commercial security standards such as NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, PCI, CIS Benchmarks, etc.
* Integration of systems with enterprise identity and access management systems such as Active Directory or SAML identity services.
* Bachelor's Degree required from college or University

Must haves:

* 3+ years of industry experience
* Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions in cloud meeting complex business requirements
* Experience with Big Data architectures running on Azure Azure Data Platform - Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Data Management Gateway, Azure Storage Options, Document DB, Data Lake Analytics, Stream Analytics, Event Hubs, Azure SQL
* Understanding of writing algorithms and programming logic in .Net/C#
* PowerShell Scripting
* Azure Big Data experience
* Eligible for U.S. Government Clearance
* Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident
