Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer who can set up an automation test framework and automation test scripts for .NET applications using Selenium. This is a long term contracting position located in Washington, DC. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and have a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities:

* Create test framework for smoke and regression tests using Selenium
* Create test cases/scripts based on requirements/User Stories
* Test Web services, Web API, micro services, plugins, traditional web based application and Single Page Application (SPA)
* Mentor team members on automation testing

Required Skills:

* Strong Knowledge of C#
* VERY Strong SQL skills and backend testing
* Experience in using TFS and continuous integration
* Working knowledge of Agile development/SCRUM
* Proven knowledge and experience in various test levels (system integration, performance, regression, and user acceptance)
* Ability to work under stress and committed to delivering work on time
* Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Experience working in a team environment as well as independently
* Proven ability in determining the root cause of problems and the conditions for their occurrence
* Possess a sense of accountability and urgency in completing assignments
* Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

About the Project:

The candidate will be working onsite (8 hours per day or 40 hours per week), developing automated test cases/scripts using Selenium with C#
