Who you are:

You're a great engineer with strong experience developing mobile user interfaces that are beautiful and intuitive. You have a strong passion for bringing static designs to life.

You work hard to play hard and take pride in delivering excellent work. You're excited about working with a team focused on delivering a vision and enjoy collaborating with other engineers, product folk, and designers to create elegant products that deliver everyday value to consumers. At your core, you have confidence that you can solve any problem (technical or not) that's handed to you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

* Work closely and collaborate with our design, product and QA teams to build the ultimate Smart Home experience
* Implement new user interfaces across a number of products (e.g., Doorbell Camera and Smart Thermostats)
* Prototype new and redesigned features
* Work in a fast paced, self-directed environment
* Participate in regular "Innovation Days" where all engineers get opportunities to explore technologies that may not be part of their daily work

WE HOPE YOU HAVE:

* Experience in building applications for iOS and/or Android
* Experience developing complex mobile or desktop applications
* Experience implementing complex user-interface designs

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

* 3+ years of strong work experience building apps
* B.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
* Strong grasp of object-oriented programming concepts
* Significant experience using external APIs
* Confidence and experience in understanding large and complex code bases
* A strong drive to learn
* A passion for mobile and web development
* A strong work-ethic
