Job Description

Our IT team is seeking a Senior ABAP Developer to join the Johns Manville team at our world headquarters in downtown, Denver, CO. The Senior ABAP Developer will be part of the SAP ABAP development team and support SAP development and ongoing maintenance. Responsibilities entail supporting and maintaining the SAP productive systems, debugging issues, and designing, coding and testing enhancements

Johns Manville (JM), headquartered in Denver, Colorado, employs approximately 350 people at its downtown headquarters in areas such as finance, human resources, legal, corporate affairs, and information technology. JM has more than 40 manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe and China. In addition, JM has technical centers in five locations around the globe, with its main center located in Littleton, Colorado.

Responsibilities:

* Support / maintain the SAP productive systems and debug system issues.
* Evaluate, interpret and understand Functional specifications for highly complex custom development.
* Construct Technical Specification for a solution design which will meet or exceed the functional requirements as described in the Functional Specification.
* Develop (code) the design as described in the Technical Specification.
* Conduct Technical Unit Testing of the developed objects/solution and provide full life cycle documentation.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree.
* 8 years of related IT experience with a minimum of 5 years of ABAP development experience in SAP ECC version 6.0 or higher.
* Experience in at least one SAP business module such as SD, PP, WM, MM, QM, FI, CO, etc. and some working knowledge in 2 or more modules.
* Experience in all types of ABAP development (reports, enhancements, interfaces, function modules and module pool).
* Experience with SAP Smartforms and/or Adobe Forms.
* Strong understanding of ABAP objects (Object Oriented concepts).
* Experience working with BADI's, BAPIs, Proxies, switch framework, IDOCs, Web services and Web Dynpro's.

Additional consideration given for:

* SAP development experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Working experience in the Building Materials industry
* Knowledge of SAP Production Execution, Quality Management and/or Plant Maintenance areas.
