Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide support for users seeking assistance from TSP Information Technology help desk. Assure that issues are addressed and problems are quickly resolved to user satisfaction.
* Handle phone inquiries, assess, diagnose problem or issue, and effectively communicate issue and resolution to users.
* Use remote-control option to solve simple problems, i.e. Outlook settings, IE problems, etc.
* Develop plan to resolve problem or issue, route issue to appropriate IT staff member if problem is not within scope of own skill set.
* Identify when to escalate issues to next level for resolution.
* Install software, modify passwords, and adjust user settings based on user needs.
* Assure help desk operations run smoothly.
* Follow all help desk processes and procedures.
* Provide documentation of findings and resolutions.
* Participate in QA review.
* Back up all information prior to any modifications and ensure accurate and extensive documentation for all changes made.
* Handle IT equipment moves.
* Deploy new hardware systems and software applications.
* Organize and maintain IT storage space.
* Administer desktop antivirus, workstation assembly including hardware and software, Windows 7 deployment and support.
* Responsible for troubleshooting and resolution of all mobile devices, workstation and workstation based application issues.
* Install and configure new mobile devices.
* Respond to employee requests for assistance.
* Maintain hardware inventory and documentation of existing applications and procedure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Basic knowledge of computer applications/systems to troubleshoot issues.
* Demonstrates a strong understanding in the use of Microsoft products including Windows 7 and Office Suite.
* Ability to effectively listen to customers and respond to their requests.
* High level of patience when dealing with non-technical, senior management level users.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Bachelor's degree required, preferred degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
* 0 -1 years corporate experience.
