OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The Solutions Engineer role is defined by versatility and ingenuity, finding solutions to recurring challenges, and productizing those solutions. A solutions engineer must be prepared to develop and use a wide skillset and apply it across a variety of users and business units.

* Collect, define, develop, and refine requirements
* Develop project plans and KPIs
* Communicate and disseminate capabilities and features to organization at large
* Procedure and feature documentation

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

* Experience working cross department (Product, Marketing and PR) translating between technical and non-technical individuals
* Will work across platforms: Web, Mobile Apps, OTT
* Work closely with Data Engineering on requirements
* Assessment of API's and SDK's
* Day to day management of offshore engineering
* Day to day work with infrastructure team
* Day to day management of vendors

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

* Development team
* Off-shore development team
* Infrastructure
* Product, editorial, and PR groups

QUALIFICATIONS

* Someone that is data driven, focused on high value work
* Excels at cross department communication
* Experience working across platforms (Web & Mobile Apps)
* Experience reviewing technical documentation
* Experience working with a Content Management Systems
* Experience working within Agile methodology
* Technical project management
* 3 years experience in Development (web, mobile, or combination)
* 3 years experience working with product organization

Preferred

* Experience working with OTT
* Experience writing technical documentation
* Experience working with PM productivity tools including Jira, Slack, ServiceNow and Teams
