Leidos Health has an immediate opportunity for a Solutions Architect located in Austin, Texas.

About the role

The role will work with the Health CTO Group to provide technical support for Business Development in the form of opportunity identification and qualification and capture support throughout the whole life cycle.

The role calls for an innovative thinker who can articulate the Leidos value in key service offerings and construct strategic campaigns into targeted client to develop new initiatives that will lead to growth and larger opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities

* Build and maintain relationships with the client's technical staff
* Identify and document the clients current state environment, vision, needs, user irritants / pain points and other relevant insights
* Actively support BD identify and qualify growth opportunities
* Actively support Capture teams to ensure we demonstrate client environment understanding and relevance / alignment of our proposed solutions
* Connect with the broader Leidos SME's across the organization to respond to client requests
* Promote the Leidos capability, solutions and services
* Contribute to the development of the High Level Designs and ConOps
* Contribute to the development of the High Level Transition Plan
* Contribute to the development of unsolicited proposals, white papers, case studies etc

Qualifications

The role be focused on delivering customer value through an appreciation of their challenges and strategic objectives, able to articulate solution value to senior leaders all the way through to technical delivery teams. Be team orientated and flexible to respond to evolving needs

* Bachelor's Degree and 8 + years relevant experience to include:

o Defining business strategies and roadmaps and bringing the customer on the journey

o Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes

o Resilient with the ability to find innovative ways around against road blocks

o Have broad experience and skillsets that span in all levels that make up a business solution and an appetite to pick up new technologies and concepts

o Knowledge of partner solutions and the competitive market landscape

o Ability to present to large audiences and facilitate workshops (such as design thinking)

o A dynamic and resourceful approach to design

o C-level / senior technical staff engagement experience

o Engineering / Technical Delivery background

o In-depth experience across a number of broad technology disciplines, including domains such as digital transformation, application consolidation, infrastructure design & migration, software development, service integration, and data analytics

o Excellent customer facing and pre-sales skills, including being able to ingest large volumes of requirements and information in a competitive environment, developing clear understanding of customer hot-buttons and needs, building rapport with the client and supporting teams to develop compelling solutions

o Organizational acumen and personal presence that drives confidence and followership both internally and externally

o An excellent communicator, ensuring solutions are communicated in relevant, compelling and engaging fashions across written, visual and oral mediums, including up to executive level

o Able to travel as needed to support business needs
