We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented

Solution Deployment Manager to join our team in Sterling, VA, to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

In this role you will be responsible for project leadership from beginning to end of both repeatable solutions and new solutions under the LBI/ITI contract with Customs and Border Protection. The primary responsibility is to oversee and manage solution delivery to our customer.

These responsibilities include:

* Understanding technology, infrastructure and construction requirements of current solutions in our delivery portfolio. These solutions include Inbound, Outbound, BP Checkpoint, Pedestrian Signage, Inbound Signage, Pedestrian Kiosk, Pedestrian RFID, and Cargo RFID.
* Estimating bill of material, direct project man hours, subcontractor costs, and direct project costs to guide responses to RFQs from the customer.
* Managing new solution development as it moves from engineering into a deployable solution.
* Liaising with our customer to drive project and scope requirements at specific locations for identified solutions.
* Maintaining communication with all stakeholders to keep them informed and tracking on the process.
* Overseeing the design process, interpreting A&E drawings, and leading all stakeholders to final design through consensus.
* Coordination between the customer, subcontractors, and Unisys designated personnel to ensure the project has all components at the project site with ample resources for successful solution deployment.
* Managing risk during the project cycle through continuous risk mitigation strategies.
* Overseeing budget and time constraints to assure customer satisfaction of the deployed solution and program margins are maintained.
* Reporting as required by Program Management.
* Lead the team for a successful solution deployment!

Requirements

Position Requirements:

* Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent blend of education and experience.
* Must be clearable - CBP BI - Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust is required.
* PMP Desired
