Job Description

Fluke Corporation is looking for a Fin-Tech individual to join the IT Finance team on an exciting transformational journey. This role will be focusing on data, integrations but also encompass gathering requirements, defining specifications, end to end solutioning, directing the activities of the rest of the implementation team.

As a solution architect (SA) he/she will be responsible for conducting research on existing systems and devising solutions that fit in the existing ecosystem as well as aligning to the cloud and digitization strategy. The SA needs to closely partner with business stakeholders and interact directly with the users to demonstrate solutions, software capabilities and features. He/she needs to coordinate on a global scale, lead the solution development and ensure overall quality of the system and data.

Responsibilities:

* Implement and recommend viable architectural approaches that support long term maintainability, extensibility, and interoperability of enterprise applications
* Design solutions that scale at a global level, secure and tightly integrate into the current landscape
* Design data flows across the systems, own integrations and data mappings
* Provide clear guidance to software development teams regarding best practices, standards and data quality
* Performs in depth technical analysis, research, proof of concepts, and evaluations as required
* Lead architectural assessments, technology selection, technology roadmaps


* Contribute to requests for proposals (RFP) and detailing scope of work


* Participate in cloud initiatives, projects, enhancements in the Finance domain


* Develop integration strategy and standards
* Work closely with the project team and provide technical leadership in development, testing and deployment
* Lead the project team, partner with business, cross functional leads


* 8 years of experience in architecture, business analysis, design and development


* 2 years as a project lead in agile setting, managing elements of scope, timeline, quality, risk, communication


* Experience with enterprise software application development, integrations (ERP, EPM, CRM) using Oracle suite


* Oracle EBS techno-functional experience and good understanding of core processes with oracle Accounts Receivables, Order Management, Account Payables, Payments, Cash Management, General Ledger, Inventory, Purchasing, Advance Collections and Fixed Assets


* Should have good understanding of Oracle EBS underlying table structures, ETL (Informatica, ODI etc), reporting (OBIEE etc)
* Minimum five years of development experience utilizing SQL, PL/SQL
* Experience working with SOA Suite, OSB, REST APIs, modern integration tools (Mulesoft, Oracle ICS or similar)
* Experience in Hyperion/Oracle EPM, other cloud (SAAS) based financial applications is desired


* Experience in upgrades, implementing cloud-based solutions, process automation


* Strong understanding of business processes, application to application integrations, information/platform security


* Bachelor's degree in Finance/Engineering or related field


* Ability to manage competing demands and thrive in a dynamic environment


* Experience in leading dev teams, interacting with management


* Energetic and self-motivated professional with excellent interpersonal, planning, communication, documentation and organizational skills

* Technical Literacy - Architects possess a high level of technical literacy, which helps them determine how a software solution fits into an organization's current structure and assists in the development of specifications, design


* Analytical Assessment - This role requires a strong business and system analysis to examine current systems, future needs and determine overall implementation roadmap


* Communication - Architects are responsible for communicating with team members, business stakeholders, and external vendors, so they need to exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills


* Problem-Solving - Architects need to be excellent problem-solvers, able to quickly change direction adapting to changes or system limitations


* Project and resource management skills
