We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Test Manager to join our team in Alexandria, VA and begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

Duties:

Provide leadership to establish best practices for engineering teams

Coordinate the efforts of a team of engineers to provide the project deliverables for a number of engineering services projects running in parallel

Write test plans based upon requirements, develop functional automated test scripts, perform testing

Must have deep knowledge in software testing methodology and the system development life cycle

Provide code review and technical guidance for team members

Develop and maintain functional and regression tests to ensure code is functioning as designed

Apply test methodologies and product knowledge in the design of tests and testing strategies

Assist project teams in determining appropriate quality goals and acceptance criteria

Develop and maintain repeatable and scalable automation test suites

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years' experience working with full Software Development Life Cycle and 3+ in QA role;5+ years' experience with manual and automated functional testing;4+ years' experience with system integration testing, performance/stress testing using SOAP UI or JMeter, and UI automation;2+ years' experience with Agile software development processes;2+ years' experience leading development teams or other management experience;Expertise with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium / Appium, including how to set up automated testing, how to script automated tests (in Python, C, C++, C#, Ruby, Javascript, Powershell, Bash, etc.), how to create automated regression test suites, and how to troubleshoot automated testing issues;Ability to understand functional/technical specifications;Ability to develop code for scripted and automated test processesExperience with testing using frameworks like Karma,Nunit, Jasmine and Junit
