As a Software Test Engineer III (STE III) on the Medical Management team, you will assess the quality of software products utilizing various platforms and technologies to ensure a quality product is built and delivered. You will plan for and estimates the test approach and scope, coordinate test cases design and execution, defect management, and escalate issues when appropriate as well as communicating status on a timely basis. Your execution of a solid test approach will satisfy business' needs while resolving a wide range of challenges in innovative ways.

What you'll do

* Analyze, review and validate project requirements and technical specifications, provide and manage test estimates and own the development and execution of test plans and test cases utilizing standard test methods and tools
* Collaborate with developers and analysts to address project requirements, deliverables, and any potential road blocks
* Participate in discovery meetings, perform impact analysis from a testing perspective, and documents key issues
* Identify, mitigate, and drive project quality issues and risks to resolution
* Execute tests including, but not limited to, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, System and Integration Testing, Automated Testing, Data Validation Testing, etc.
* Record, track, and regress defects using test tools and provides necessary metrics reporting on test execution, defects and overall quality
* Seek out opportunities to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of overall test cycle through streamlining test execution and utilizing automated testing tools or various scripting languages
* Utilize a variety of database and SQL tools to gather and analyze datasets for test case design, planning and execution
* Provide mentoring and guidance for junior STEs to foster a strong team atmosphere with a focus on driving efficiencies and quality

What you'll bring

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4 years' experience in Information Technology
* 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or related IT field
* Knowledge of Testing Tools, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence Tools
* Knowledge of Integrated Health Insurance Management systems is preferred
* Demonstrated experience successfully working with internal business partners and delivering high quality artifacts
* Demonstrated understanding of Object Oriented programming fundamentals
* Demonstrated understanding of Relational Database concepts and advanced SQL skills
* Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
