We are currently seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

* Performs formal system testing activities for a particular project or subset of a larger project under supervision of more experienced test personnel.
* Performs analysis of documented user requirements and directs or assists in the design of test plans in support of user requirements for moderately complex to complex software or IT systems.
* May participate in all phases of risk management assessment and software/hardware development.
* Responsible for ensuring that the test design and documentation support all applicable clients, agency or industry standards time lines and budgets.
* Responsible for ensuring that testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results, and project managers are fully informed of testing status and application deviations from documented user requirements.

Key Tasks, Qualifications, and Certifications:

* Strong functional testing background, including defining test strategy, test planning, test case design, and execution to ensure system requirements are met.
* Experience creating and executing tests within an agile continuous integration environment
* Test automation skills and knowledge of VB.NET, Rational Functional Tester or other automated testing tools
* Manages the testing of multiple projects of significant complexity
* Good knowledge and understanding of testing processes
* Independently analyzes issues, recommends software changes and writes detailed bug reports. Creates and maintains ownership of test cases and test results

Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree

Minimum Experience: 6 years

This position may that a candidate have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
