RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design, Code, Unit test, and debug .net application and libraries (C#, C/C++) that will be utilized across Dell software.
* Complete code development to ensure application/library releases reach general availability on time.
* Collaboration with testing team to debug errors identified in formal tests
* Participate in defining and developing of automation tests of the application/library
* Code regression testing

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Must have minimum of 3 years of industry experience developing commercial or enterprise level desktop applications.
* 3-4 years hands on experience using Windows SDK

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field


* 5+ years of experience with C#, WPF, WCF (named pipes and sockets only)
* Demonstrable experience with multi-threading, exception handling and debugging
* Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
* Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to pay careful attention to detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience with Mono and/or Xamarin
* Understanding of Microsoft UWP
* Understanding and working knowledge with NuGet packages
* Experience with Atlassian tools for documentation, defect tracking and Build process
* Deep hands-on technical expertise
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Understanding of software development in a team, and a track record of shipping software on time
* Ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions
