This role will perform Software Quality Engineering responsibilities for the Engagement Solutions business in the Network and Financials division within CHC's Software and Analytics vertical. Responsible for the execution of the overall processes and procedures for the Quality Engineering team as they relate to ongoing product development and client support. Modifies or develops existing or new quality engineering manual and automated processes to support APIs, middle tier components, and full stack SaaS B2B2C software packages. Ensures our quality levels meet SLAs defined joined by business, product and software engineering teams.

Will additionally

* Partner with the architectural lead, development team, quality team, and DevOps team members on proper testing techniques to ensure scalability, performance, error handling, and quickest MTR when issues occur in production
* Participate in furthering automation end to end within a client-oriented testing framework

Job Requirements

* Collaborate closely with development teams to deliver software releases with an ever-increasing level of quality.
* Participate in advancing metrics & goals that provide visibility & understanding of development effectiveness from a quality perspective on a regular basis.
* Assist in Integrating CI/CD with quality initiatives.
* Help drive better metrics and quality review initiatives to gain more insight into the behavior of our application

Experience and Capabilities:

* Must have basic quality assurance, engineering or DevOps/operational support knowledge.
* Basic understanding of CI/CD release management processes and how they integrate with quality reviews.
* Entry level experience developing, supporting, and/or testing web and mobile applications or equivalent training.
* Ability to understand of the need for testing of security requirements
* Ability to read/understand code written in JavaScript, Erlang, Ruby, Java, MySql or similar
* Basic data base query language capabilities and/or data model understanding.
* Beneficial experience to include any of the following:
* JIRA, Confluence, Selenium, JUnit, JMeter, Node.js, React, Redux, AWS, Mocha, Chai, Authentication methods, JSON


* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Math/Engineering, or equivalent experience or training.
* Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
* Strong character of collaboration and team building, with a can-do positive attitude. Must be customer service centric.
