Product Engineeringalongside clinical and big datais one of three software disciplines at Sema4. We focus on the software used by patients, healthcare providers, partners, and payers. Sema4 seeks a talented Software Quality Engineer to help us change the way healthcare is delivered.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Build test infrastructure across multiple channels including web, mobile, service layers, back-end, and integration
* Deeply embedded into the SDLC, the ideal candidate will be able to work closely and teach the development team on how to use this infrastructure to write tests themselves, creating an exponential improvement in the quality of our products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelors in Computer Science or solid on the job experience
* 3+ years in a Quality Engineering role
* Highly coachable and can take the vision and direction from our engineering leaders and make it a reality
* Communicate clearly and often, both verbally and in writing
* 3 + years experience with strong programming experience Ruby on Rails and Javascript a plus
* Experience shipping high quality software products (The healthcare tech space requires a standard of quality far higher than of traditional software products. The information we provide to our users affect their lives and thus our passion and processes for high quality software should reflect that)
* Create tools and test infrastructure to ensure ownership of quality.
* Facilitate testing in the development phase Quality Engineers will use tools such as cypress.io to write UI tests AND teach the development team to use and write tests themselves, before their code is promoted.
