Job Description Description: Program managers at Bose collaborate with product teams, designers and developers to create a truly delightful experience. We love to build beautiful products that delight and excite users as well as deal with complex technical challenges. In this role, you will help to plan and execute hyper focused 1-day sprints to layout, document, and help us improve our software best practices. This effort spans requirements gathering, software design documentation, high level planning, and team leadership. Of course the world of a 1-day sprint doesn't get done in one day. You will participate in the research and up-front planning to make the scrum a success. You will also follow up with reviews of artifacts and implementation of some recommendations. At the end of your internship you will understand the basics of what it means to be a project manager within an integrated HW / SW organization. Responsibilities: Work with the engineering team to research best practices, that work for our culture, in specific topics and prepare examples Assist with planning 1 day workshops on specific topics Help with scheduling, setup, and synthesis of artifacts Work to improves our SW documentation best practices Document & Review artifacts Work with software leads to modify existing documentation for existing products Work collaboratively with a cross functional engineering team. Skills: Familiarity with agile development process Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence and visualization tools such as PlantUML, LucidChart, or Visio.
