This Role

We're looking for someone who can help us design, build, and manage the technology that will power Aura's future. Have you ever looked at infrastructure and thought, "If it were up to me, I'd do it like this"? We want someone who has a strong view on what the "this" is, and then can help us make it happen. We want someone to help us go fast and scale and do things right.

This is an individual contributor role and we are looking for someone with approximately 3-5 years of experience.

The primary skills we are looking for in this role:

* Experience orchestrating cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
* Experience in scripting languages and using them in automation (Bash + Python preferred)
* Experience with Kubernetes
* A computer science degree or equivalent

What you'll do on a day-to-day basis:

* Automate and manage our AWS infrastructure
* Manage our production services for thousands of customers
* Define and manage release process
* Manage release and deployment cycles for product lines
* Create and maintain Ansible scripts
* Define and manage security processes
* Build and manage tools to monitor our production systems
* Improve the availability, performance, scalability and efficiency of our services through monitoring, automation, redundancy, capacity and business continuity planning
* Participate in on-call rotation to drive incident resolution and troubleshooting
