Software Support Team Lead carries management responsibilities for a group of engineers; responsible for segments of the planning, communication, and stuck order /customer ticket handling and is expected to provide professional and technical leadership for the group, raise risks, suggest mitigations and make decisions.

What will your job look like?

* You will lead, mentor small teams of software engineers to handle the fallout for USCC Ordering system.
* Your daily responsibilities will include handling of stuck orders and customer escalations along with ad-hoc, on demand tasks.
* You will provide technical & professional leadership to the team members
* You will provide analysis on the stuck orders along with Methods and Procedures for the team to handle similar flavors of stuck orders.
* You will work towards stability of USCC Ordering system by ensuring that stuck order percentage is within acceptable range.
* You will provide inputs on the get-well points for the team and ensure that these are handled/implemented.
* You will act as technical interface with other teams to resolve and promote issues, communicate plans and conclusions as well as recommendations for issue closure.

All you need is...

* Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing /industrial engineering or equivalent/system analysis
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a SDLC environment and methodologies.
* In-depth knowledge in the telecommunications domain
* Experience in leading tasks and/or mentoring software engineers
* Amdocs business and cross portfolio knowledge
