Thales Defense & Security, Inc. has an opening for an intern within the Embedded Software department for 8 weeks. This position will be responsible for some entry level assignments that will provide exposure to the software engineering job family. This position is located in the Clarksburg, MD office and reports to the Manager to Engineering.

Responsibilities

Intern will be responsible for completing the following assignments successfully

* Develop unit level and system level test scripts
* Execute test scripts to identify and document defects
* Support verification and validation of existing hardware and software against system requirements

Intern must be able to comply with Thales policies, procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

* US Citizenship Required
* Most be enrolled in an accredited university of college and have completed at least 2 semesters within the engineering field of study.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Must be proficient in English both verbal and written.
* Familiarity with Linux operating system is desired but not required
* Python experience is desired but not required
