Job Summary (General Responsibilities):

As Software Technical Lead, you will work as a both front and back end developer while also serving as technical lead to a team of software engineers. Must be able to work creatively, collaboratively, and interactively across teams to create optimal software and user experiences. You will work closely with the cross functional teams to design and architect features of the system. This is a great opportunity for a senior developer to have significant positive impact on the design of IoT products.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Oversee software engineers working with team on various projects.
* Work with a creative team of User Experience designers, Visual Designers, and Product Managers to define the visual and behavioral requirements for new user interfaces.
* Research technologies and present findings with recommendation for integration into team
* technical strategy.
* Utilizing iOS technologies, develop world-class user interfaces and integrate new user interface controls.
* Implement non-functional requirements for the user interfaces and controls to support a variety of platforms, dimensions, resolutions and languages.
* Debug using emulators, analyzers and simulators and similar tools.
* Work with software engineering peers to integrate these user interfaces into the main applications, ensuring data integrity and high performance.
* Work on iOS platform focusing on the Wemo iOS application.
* Create and maintain UI prototypes, production-level screens and product quality UI controls built in Objective-C and Swift.
* Collaborate with a team of designers and engineers.
* Collaborate with UX and graphic designers to define the best visual and behavioral requirements for new user interfaces, implement them, and integrate them into the main applications.
* Work closely with backend and test engineers to implement the API, ensure data integrity and maintain suitable performance.
* Document software designs.
* Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001 and 14001; understand and fully support IS0 system.
* Fulfill responsibilities under OHSAS 18001, understand and fully support OHSAS 18001 system.
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
* Understand and follow company rules and regulations.
* Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

* Technical mastery developing for a variety of mobile dimensions and resolutions including iOS.
* Working knowledge of XCode IDE, Objective-C, Swift and user interface framework
* BS Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
* Hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
* Worked closely with User Experience and Visual designers to translate their visual ideas into real life user interfaces.
* Developed pixel-perfect user interfaces faithfully rendering the behavior identified in storyboards.
* Demonstrated great communication skills; Built rapport and credibility with your team.
* Extremely proficient in cross platform (phone & tablet) UI development and testing; able to build a highly interactive interface that works flawlessly on iOS mobile platforms
* 6+ years of prior development experience in developing mobile apps that are heavy on rich and dynamic user experiences.
* 2+ years of leading software team members in rapid software development environment.
* Passion for high quality design and for products that are both usable and cool - able to work efficiently alongside both design and development teams.
