Overview

ERT's Bridgewater office is looking for an intern to design and develop software for ERT. Will be providing appropriate documentation in accordance with ERT System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.

Responsibilities Develop POC according to requirements Develop software in accordance with programming standards. Develop and review assigned functional specifications using standardized templates to describe functionality of software and impact of functionality to other parts of the system. Develop unit test plans and test cases. Perform peer source code review. Develop software installations (as required). Participate in requirement gathering meetings Analyze and define requirements Write design documents

Qualifications

Minimum GPA of 3.5 / 4.0 Capacity for learning new technologies and skills rapidly is key Must know at least one object oriented programming language: Python , Scala or Java language Must have knowledge about Angular like GUI Frameworks Must have completed Data structure programming courses Must know Relational and NOSQL Databases MongoDB, Cassandra, H-Base etc Should understand logical and physical database design Must know Cloud tools and technologies full stack development skills are desired Knowledge of good understanding of Agile software methodology Good written and verbal communication skills Good interpersonal skills Good understanding of software development fundamentals/Life cycle High level of creativity, quick problem solving capabilities and strong analytical skills
