This position is on the Air/Space Integration (ASI) team in Palmdale, CA. ASI is one of the technology roadmaps that develops and matures data fusion and modelling techniques and software. Includes both internal research and development and contractual projects. Work products include whitepapers/studies, prototype software, and full systems. Candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Candidate should be self-directed and able to work with minimal oversight.

Candidate responsibilities will span the software development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system and software design and implementation, integration and flight test support. Integration activities with other team members will include multiple mission systems in laboratory environments and on vehicles.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

* Knowledge of high-level programming languages: C++, Java, and/or Python
* Experience developing modelling and simulation software
